Computers are such a great tool for connecting people and sharing ideas but it is no replacement for the real world. When People Living with Disabilties (PLD) want to go into the real world they need allies to help them be part of the community they live in. You can be an ally to the (PLD) by letting people know when you see their civil rights being violated. You do this by talking peacefully to a person directly or you can print out zines. Below I have made available zines about accessible parking, DIY Community and Accessibility, and a flier that talks about the importance of curb cuts to the community of the (PLD).

Curb Cuts
~This fliers was created by fellow DIYabled friend and ally Steve Milano. He made this when he noticed all the people parking blocking the curb cut outside his house.
~You can also be a DIYabled ally by letting people know the rights the PLD have and why it is so important to fight for them.
~He has created a 8.5×11 file with 4 smaller sized flier. They can be printed in color or B&W 🙂
