This. is a series of photographs taken from a wheelchair lift. The lift gives me the independence to be in the world as my peers, but it is the lack of accessibility to the communities that obstructs me from living independently. This series shows what I see when I roll onto the lift when I am going somewhere, and to non-disabled people, these photographs are beautiful, but when you look closely, you see the ugliness of inaccessibility.
