As a disabled wheelchair user, I find myself looking down. I do this because most terrain is not accessible, and if I’m not looking, I could get stuck or, even worse, get hurt!! As a photographer, I began noticing the surfaces on the ground that I needed to navigate over and started photographing the contrasts in surfaces I saw. I call it Worlds Collide. And when these worlds collide, it is visually stunning and, in some cases, very inaccessible.
