
Priya Ray is an artist, musician, and disability activist whose work centers disability culture, access, and DIY ethics. A wheelchair user since a 1999 spinal cord injury, she creates art and music rooted in the lived experience of disability and the communities that sustain it.
She earned a BFA in Photography from Florida International University and, while in school, co-founded the experimental band Kreamy’Lectric Santa, which toured throughout the 1990s and became part of the Region Rock movement, gaining underground cult status. Her art includes ceramics, photography, writing, and music, and remains grounded in community, resistance, and the belief that creative spaces must be accessible to all.
