Belladonna Obscura | Bella is a disabled artist, singer and visionary, mutual aid organizer, advocate, and world-builder. She loves whimsy, colors, Gothic horror and romance, nature and plants, and all things magical. Bella’s craft is an instrument of imagining, envisioning and creating a new world of collective care. Their primary medium is digital collage, and she also loves singing, music, painting, drawing, writing, and any way to express herself artistically and authentically. Bella strives to always honor her Irish heritage and anti-colonial ancestors. She loves myths and folklore, and is enamored by the inextricable nature of the magical and mundane, folklore and fact. This multifaceted perception of reality drives her creative vision and imagination as an artist and world-builder. Bella can usually be found in their cozy armchair surrounded by plants and fuzzy blankets, reading mysteries and folktales, crafting art and stories, while sipping spiced coffee.
